The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll deliver dependable cloud projects with a strong focus on automation, ensuring solutions are repeatable, scalable and aligned to customer requirements. Your automation efforts will encompass the provisioning and configuration of Azure resources including: virtual machines, networking, storage, security policies, and identity management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Bicep and Terraform.
You will predominantly fit within the following categories: Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Microsoft Azure, Data & AI, Identity Management.
You’ll bridge the gap between software development and IT operations by designing, building, and automating Azure environments through code. Working in an agile environment, you’ll deliver continuous improvements that enhance reliability and align with customer goals and the Azure Well-Architected Framework. Your work will help customers modernise their cloud operations by streamlining environment setup, monitoring, and ongoing management through robust automation.
You’ll also strengthen our internal capability by improving knowledge bases, runbooks, and delivery templates to drive faster, more consistent outcomes across Macquarie Cloud Services.
